Job Description
Job Purpose Cassava Smartech is looking for a competent Motor Assessor to join its Insurtech business. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out assessments and valuations for motor vehicles in the company books to enhance prudent underwriting processes and mitigate loss
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing procedures for motor vehicle assessments for inhouse and external use. • Following up on all repairers to ensure high quality work. • Building and maintaining external relationships with major suppliers. • Monitoring motor claims for remedial action. • Reviews repairers' charges to find the most competitive suppliers. • Monitors client satisfaction level after repairs. • Implements speedy resolutions of all claim queries. • Develops and maintains a database for major vehicles and components. • Reviews and updates the plan with the Senior Managers on the performance of the motor book. • Performs any other relevant duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification. Skills and Experience
• Class one qualified journeyman- Panel Beating • A vocation or professional technical qualification will be an added advantage. • 2 - 3 years' experience in an insurance environment • Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to present complex situations. • Exceptional negotiating skills
