Job Description
The incumbent shall be responsible to effectively and efficiently control the Mill Gate operations through supervising all the activities within the relative standards of GreenFuel (Pvt) Ltd.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervising Mill Gate controlling operations.
• Reporting on tonnage of harvested sugarcane delivered to the Mill during operating season from both Middle Sabi and Chisumbanje estates.
• Compiling cane haulage trucks and harvesters’ daily meter readings through recording total daily operation mileages against fuel consumption.
• Monitoring cane haulage trucks by allocating and tracking them during operation through communicating with Drivers and Infield Supervisors.
• Giving feedback to Infield Supervisors on new Mill crush rates, truck delays, breakdowns and accidents.
• Receiving and dispatching of workshop spares from Middles Sabi workshop to Chisumbanje.
• Ensuring order on receiving trucks at the weighbridge and general housekeeping on the mill yard harvesting section.
Qualifications and Experience
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
• Developed time management, organisational and people management skills
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
• Must be attentive to detail
