A Group of companies with exciting career prospects is looking into the feasibility of venturing in to gold buying, milling and establishing a mining entity in the long run in high yielding gold mining areas in Zimbabwe. The Group is soliciting for applications from a suitably qualified a Metallurgist to assist in market research outlining short and longterm opportunities in Zimbabwe's gold milling industry.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the position shall be responsible for, among otherduties:-
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Initiates, carries out metallurgical test works and project feasibility studies;
• Outlines the preliminary process design including capacity of mills;
• Designs and control processes to separate gold from the ore;
• Ensures that process operations are incompliance with applicable laws & regulations;
• Researches, design and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow;
• Develops a business plan and budget focused on 24 months;
• Determines the organization & setup of operations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• At least a HND/ Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering
• At least 3 years post qualification experience in mineral processing
• Working knowledge of safety, health, environment and quality management systems
• A clean class 4 driver's licence.
