JOB PURPOSE
To conduct market researches/surveys and provide insights regarding the export market, trends, competitors, opportunities and potential to the Zimbabwean export sector.
Duties and Responsibilities
JOB FUNCTION
• Conducting desk and field market surveys.
• Monitoring and analyzing market and product specific trade performance (Trade flow analysis).
• Identifying opportunities for market diversification/expansion in specific markets.
• Marketing Information management/dissemination/presentation.
• Providing Trade Advisory Services.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with information providers (industry associations, statisticians and marketing experts).
• Publishing relevant, quality and analytical articles.
• Providing market intelligence to clients.
Qualifications and Experience
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB:
• First Degree in Business Studies/Economics/Marketing
• Familiarity with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies
• An analytical approach to problem solving
• 3 years relevant experience in Trade Analysis and Research
• Good Presentation and writing skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• High computer and ICT literacy
