Job purpose
The graduate intern will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and monitoring of the Community-Based Enhanced Malaria Prevention and Control Project in the assigned geographical areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities
Provides Malaria Program related logistical support in documenting and filing project documents, and delivery of stationery and fuel to districts; Design with support from Malaria Project Manager, Malaria project, database of beneficiaries; Maintains beneficiary registers for the Malaria project in the supported districts; Provide secretarial services to the Malaria project and compile minutes and reports of meetings and workshops; Participate in consolidation of Malaria project monthly and Quarterly Reports; Undertakes field monitoring visits as dictated by the Malaria project; Coordination of District sensitization meetings for Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) distribution and trainings on gender equity inclusion and safeguarding; Coordination of Ward sensitization trainings for LLINs distribution; Coordination of LLIN distribution at district and ward level; Coordination of LLIN mass distributions campaigns at district and ward level; Promoting and abiding by Plan International policies.

Qualifications and Experience

Entry qualifications and experience
Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Environmental Health or equivalent; Working knowledge of Ministry of Health structures; Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows/Office environment.
