Job Description
ZESA Holdings (Pvt) Ltd is a state owned Company whose mandate is the generation, transmission, distribution and retailing of electricity, provision of telecommunication services as well as manufacturing and retailing of electrical related equipment. We invite suitably qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the following position that has arisen within the Company.
Post A: Loss Control Manager (Intelligence] Ref: Z/Hhr01/12/20
Duties and Responsibilities
This is a senior and key position that reports to the General Manager- Loss Control.
Key Responsibilities
• Identifies and recommends to the General Manager-Loss Control, the appropriate intelligence gathering skills and methods for the unit,
• Undertakes human capital development to ensure staff receive appropriate skills,
• Gathers intelligence regarding criminalistic techniques,
• Institutes data mining aimed at reducing crime and improve the economic well-being of the organisation,
• Provides support to the organisation's anti-corruption mitigation strategies,
• Researches and recommends systems that detect fraud and theft, integrity violation, misuse of company assets as well as misappropriation or misapplication of assets,
• Develops, drafts and implements policies, procedures and plans to minimise leakages perpetrated through integrity violation,
• Establishes and maintains close liaison with complimentary arms of Government on how to curb leakages and effectively apply Electricity Act Chapter 13:19,
• Identifies and mitigates security threats to the economy such as economic sabotage, theft of essential infrastructure in liaison with the General Manager: Loss Control,
• Designs and implements risk and intelligence driven operational strategies to recover lost revenue and minimise revenue leakages,
• Develops, implements and monitors effective Risk Management techniques to ensure control and mitigation of losses,
• Implements cost control measures and promotes compliance to division's budget.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
• A degree in Security and Intelligence Studies or equivalent
• A Post Graduate Qualification such as an MBL/MBA or equivalent
• Membership of a recognised professional institution
• 8 years relevant experience of which 5 years should be at senior level in a reputable organisation
• Clean class four driver's license

• Composure and ability to protect and preserve confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency in computer operations and packages
• Previous experience in the security services sector a must
