Job Description

2. General Histopathologist/Cytopathologist/Forensic Pathologist x 3

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
 To teach Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
 To do research as an individual and in teams.
 To provide clinical service at Government hospitals affiliated with the University and be part of service roster (clinical work).
 To attend and participate in University meetings as requested by the Chairperson (administration).
 Forward thinking and innovate new techniques and diagnostic criteria.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
 Possess a Master in Medicine Histopathology Degree or FRCPath or equivalent.
 Be registerable on the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council as a SPECIALIST PATHOLOGIST.
 Have clinical working experience in the areas of Cytopathology or Forensic Pathology and given evidence of having engaged in research and published.
 An additional subspecialty qualification in Cytopathology or Forensic pathology will be an added advantage.
 Should be medically qualified.
