Post A - Heat Transfer and Mass Transfer
Applicants for this position must possess a relevant Master of Science degree (merit) and a good first degree (2.1) specialising in Fuels and/Energy or equivalent and a Master of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering specialising in Heat Transfer and Mass Transfer. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise student projects in the following areas: Heat Transfer and Mass Transfer at undergraduate level. In addition, the candidate will be expected to be proficient and have experience in delivering courses through online and blended learning methods. Possession of a PhD in Fuels/Energy will be an added advantage.

Post B - Energy Strategies, Nanotechnology in Energy and Solar Energy Technology Applicants for this position must possess a relevant Master of Science degree (merit) and a good first degree (2.1) specialising in Applied Physics/Energy/Nanotechnology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise student projects in the following areas: Nanotechnology in Energy, Solar Energy and Energy Storage at undergraduate level. In addition, the candidate will be expected to be proficient and have experience in delivering courses through online and blended learning methods. Possession of a PhD in Fuels/Energy will be an added advantage.

Post C - Energy Systems, Project Management, Energy Markets and Legislation, Energy Management and Auditing
Applicants for this position must possess a relevant Master of Science degree (merit) and a good first degree (2.1) specialising in Chemical/Electrical/Renewable Energy Engineering specialising in Energy Management. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise student projects in at least two (2) of the following areas:
Energy Systems Project Management; Energy Markets and Legislation; Energy Management and Auditing at undergraduate level. In addition, the candidate will be expected to be proficient and have experience in delivering courses through online and blended learning methods. Possession of a PhD in Fuels/Energy will be an added advantage.

Post D - Combustion Technology, Fuel Processing and Handling
Applicants for this position must possess a relevant Master of Science degree (merit) and a good first degree (2.1) specialising in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Oil and Gas/Petroleum Engineering or Fossil Fuels related Engineering specialising in Coal, Petroleum and Combustion. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise student projects in the following areas: Combustion Technology; and Fuel Processing and Handling at undergraduate level. In addition, the candidate will be expected to be proficient and have experience in delivering courses through online and blended learning methods. Possession of a PhD in Fuels/Energy will be an added advantage.
