Job Description
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor (1 Post)
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate must be capable of supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research work, assess students on Work Related Learning and teaching the following modules in Crop Protection;
Weed Science
Weed Management
Pesticide Science
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
PhD in a relevant science discipline (Agronomy, Crop Protection, Weed Science or Agroecology)
MSc in Crop Protection / Crop Science
Should preferably, have knowledge in molecular biology and data analysis /statistics
Evidence of published research in weed biology, ecology and management will be an added advantage
Teaching experience at tertiary level will be an added advantage
