The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Applied Science: -
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor - Radiography (2)
Department of Radiography
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant is expected to be conversant with the basic Radiography taught to undergraduates at First and Second year levels at NUST. He/she shall therefore be expected to teach basic undergraduate courses as well as elective courses at the Fourth year level in his/her area of specialisation. In addition, he/she will be expected to assist on the MSc Programmes in the Department of Radiography. The successful candidate should be keen to do research with minimum resources in his/her area of interest, solicit and attract funding in research.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold a minimum qualification of a Master’s Degree in Radiography. A higher qualification in any of the following disciplines: Computed Tomography; Magnetic Resonance Imaging; Radionuclide Imaging and or proof of active research in the form of published papers shall be a definite advantage.
