The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Applied Science: -
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor - Data Analytics
Department of Computer Science
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful applicant should be able to teach at least 2 of the following course: Machine Learning, Data Visualisation, Data Mining and Warehousing, Python or R Programming.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or in any related field from a recognised university with at least 3 years experience in academia or industry. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with at least a 2.2 pass is required.
A relevant PhD or evidence towards attaining one, the ability to promote entrepreneurship and business development and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
