The University seeks to recruit applicants with requisite qualifications, skills and experience for the following posts in the Faculty of Applied Science: -
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor - Biochemistry (2 Posts)

Applicants should be holders of BSc (Honours) or B Tech (Honours) with relevant content for the post and an MSc/MPhil in Biochemistry. The candidate should have at least 2 year’s work experience in an institution of higher education or a research institution. Experience in the assessment of students and supervision of research projects in area of specialisation as well as curriculum development will be an added advantage. A PhD or a registration for a PhD in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
The candidate will be expected to be involved in teaching and practical training of undergraduate and postgraduate students in areas of Chemistry of Biomolecules, Analytical Biochemistry, Metabolic Processes and Enzymology. Supervision of research projects in the area of specialisation will be expected.
