Quantitative and Population Genetics (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
 To teach both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
 To carry out and lead research in this discipline

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
 Applicants should have at least a Master of Science degree in Quantitative and Population Genetics or related area.
 A PhD degree will be an added advantage.
 The successful candidate should be well versed in areas like types of quantitative traits, artificial selection, prediction equation, genetic basis of quantitative traits, number of genes affecting quantitative traits, intensity of selection, heritability, resemblance between relatives, long-term artificial selection, in-breeding depression, correlated responses and selection limits.
