Job Description

Support the full recruitment cycle following set organisations procedures, Support employees and managers on HR policy and practice, Assist with training coordination and induction of new hires, Assist with employee file management within HRIS.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support the recruitment process with tasks such as scheduling of interviews and conducting reference and security checks.

2. Draft offer letters and contracts for vetting to HRM and General Manager. Send out offer letters to candidates’ mailboxes/ surface addresses.

3. Track new hires and announce resumption of new hires to respective teams in liaison with HRM

4. Support new hire orientation and ensure all relevant documents are included on orientation package

5. Enter new hire in relevant HRIS and ensure email creation and security system as relevant.

6. Assist in the filing of documents appropriately into personnel files and subject files daily.

7. Assist in preparing relevant information for submission to payroll as applicable.

8. Ensure first level entry of leave records in the HRIS and ensure verification by HRM.

9. Collect the required data/documentation for the health insurance scheme and group life insurance scheme and ensure updates are made timeously to service providers.

10. Assist in compilation of information for all HR reports and loan application updates as applicable.

11. Follow-up on approvals for all HR documents such as signing of contracts and any changes to employment status and communicate these as applicable.

Qualifications and Experience

BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or its recognized equivalent

3 – 5 years of relevant experience

Experience within financial services is added advantage

Ability to work with minimum supervision
