Job Description
Zimbabwe National Geospatial And Space Agency (Zingsa) Is looking for Human Resources Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recruiting, training and developing staff;
• Management of ZINGSA Payroll systems;
• Making sure that staff get paid correctly and on time;
• Pensions and benefits administration;
• Approving job descriptions and advertisements;
• Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employees;
• Monitoring staff performance and attendance;
• Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer's own employment policies and procedures;
• Negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Human Resources, Business administration, social science or other relevant field;
• At least five year experience working within a Science and Technology Institution or Geo-information Science and Space Technologies Institution
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay, benefits recruitment, training and development etc.);
• Ability to form working relationships with people at all levels;
• Understating labour laws and disciplinary procedure;
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude;
• Meticulous attention to detail;
• Strong ethics and reliability.
