Job Description
Galaway Management Services has been retained by one of its clients – a manufacturing company to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the position of HR MANAGER.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Bridges management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues.
• Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of human capital.
• Develops and monitors overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
• Oversees and manages the performance appraisal system that drives a high performance culture.
• Assesses training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
• Reports to management and provides decision support through HR metrics.
• Ensures legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Manages the staffing processes, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding.
• Ensures job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and statutory regulations.
• Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
• Creates and maintains a compensation and benefits strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys.
• Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
Qualifications and Experience
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Psychology or any other related area.
• A minimum of 3 years’ working experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
