Applicants should have a Higher National Diploma in IT or equivalent, one (1) year in an Information Technology-related field; good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills and an openness to learning new technologies. The incumbent will serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance; providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software and network issues; direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel; record events and problems and their resolution in logs; keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users; provide needed information on IT products or services.
