Job Description
Graduate trainee -Planning
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist to determine to utilize City land and resources yy use of reports and community input
• Planning for the construction of new public housing or amenities ,enduring protection of the environment .
• Assist to prepare for community development through surveys, field investigations and other research methods .
• Use computers to analyze information ,map land areas ,project program costs and predict trends.
• Prepare reports regarding location of different infrastructure
• Prepare and comment on master and local plans for centers and districts in terms Regional, Town and Country Act (Chapter 29:12
• Carry out initials assessments and produce developments reports.
• Prepare State Land layout plans and reports for industrial, commercial and residential development in terms of the Regional, Town and Country Planning Act (Chapter 29:12)
• Carrying out development control activities and their enforcement.
• Assisting in the approval of building plans, investment proposals or estate development
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and experience
• A Bsc Degree in Rural and Urban Planning
• Self-motivated, self-directed & accurate and precise attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills & excellent time management skills
• Have 5 O Levels including English and Mathematics
