Duties and Responsibilities
The role - what we expect from you:
Assist in ad hoc financial modelling and detailed analysis of data for the various business lines across the Group.
Promote the use of existing business data through consolidation, interpretation, trends analysis and presentation of results thus enabling continuous improvement in overall business performance.
Deliver business-wide reporting requirements.
Gather market and competitor intelligence for decision making.
Develop analytical models that can be deployed to various business areas.
Come up with commercially viable opportunities for the business.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Skills and experience required:
A relevant Degree from a recognized and reputable tertiary institution i.e. Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Management, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, etc.
Good conceptual, analytical, communication and organizational skills
Highly numerate with a reasonable knowledge of financial mathematics as the tasks require financial modelling and stress testing with wide use of spread sheets
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Creative and Systematic
Good interpersonal skills
Good report writing skills
