Job Description
We are looking for Filler Technical Operators for a plastic/ packaging manufacturing plant. The ideal candidates must have at least 1 year experience in a similar role.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Operating the Carbonated Soft Drinking filling line.
* Responsible for visual inspection of production for defects based on Standard. Monitor product for any quality issues.
* Accurately Track production, yields and rejects on production forms.
* Verifying that equipment is operating properly. Carry out autonomous maintenance on the Carbonated Soft Drinking filling line equipment. Notify Maintenance and Supervisor if there are issues requiring engineering department.
* Participating and supporting lean activities.
* Getting the proper material to the required machines in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
* Maintaining acceptable level of housekeeping by 5S standards in the assigned work area. Work areas must be kept free and clear of trash or any items which are not necessary to perform work assignment.
* Keeping fixture/change parts/tools/equipment and floor areas clean and organized.
* Achieving established daily performance target.
* Performing basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on Carbonated Soft Drinking filling line and auxiliary equipment.
* Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
One (1) year Bottling experience.
Education: Diploma Millwright (preferred) or Fitter and Turner
PET blow moulding, Labelling machine knowledge an added advantage
