Qualifications and Experience
FACULTY OF SCIENCE
5.1 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE HONOURS IN NURSING SCIENCE (4 YEARS)
Entry requirements:
A minimum of 5 'O' Level passes including English language and a Science subject at Grade C or better or their equivalent. Applicants must have a Diploma in Nursing and be registered with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe. Please note that two years post qualification experience is a requirement.
5.2 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE HONOURS IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT (4 YEARS)
Entry Requirements:
A minimum of 5 'O' level passes, including English Language and a
Science subject with a grade “C” or better. Or A relevant diploma/certificate or 'A' Level science passes will be an added advantage.
5.3 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (HONOURS) IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT (3 YEARS)
Entry requirements:
A relevant Diploma at Level 5 of the Zimbabwe National Qualifications
Framework (ZNQF)
5.4 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE HONOURS IN MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS (4 YEARS)
Entry Requirements:
A minimum of 5 'O' Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and Science at Grade C or better. A pass at ‘A’ level Mathematics or a teachers' certificate or Diploma in Education with Mathematics as a major subject will be an added advantage.
5.5 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE HONOURS IN GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES (4 YEARS)
Entry requirements:
A minimum of 5 'O' Level passes including Geography, English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or better
How to Apply
Closing date for submission of all applications is 31 October 2020 except for M.Phill and D.Phill which is open throughout the year. Application fee for both Undergraduate and Post-graduate programmes is ZWL$50 for local and USD$10 for foreign applicants while that of M.Phill and D.
