Job Description

This is a junior position with the incumbent reporting to the Assistant Regional Manager.

JOB SUMMARY
• To link ZIMSEC with clients at provincial level

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and dispatch all examination material to examination centres.
• Receipt and bank all cash at the regional office.
• Collect and check Travelling & Subsistence and Advance forms submitted by examiners.
• Pay examiners at the Regional Office.
• Bank and keep records of accounts at regional office.
• Maintain stores and remittance books for the region.
• Carry out periodic stock count s of ZIMSEC regional assets, stationery and stores equipment.
• Maintain leave records for regional staff as assigned by the Regional Manager/Assistant Regional Manager.
• Purchases of consumables through use of petty cash (quarterly)
• Collecting daily mail.
• Supervise the General labourer/Office Orderly
• Payment of bills (Zesa, Telone, Council) as assigned by Regional Manager/ Assistant Regional Manager.
• Participate in the identification and payment of venues for marking and examination cluster distribution.
• Update examiner records for Grade 7. 0 and A —Level practical examinations.
• Write invitations for examiners.
• Participate in the monitoring and administration of the marking process.
• Act as receptionist at the regional office.
• Assist in the monitoring of examination centres.
• Carry out Spot Checks on the conduct of examinations in the Province.

Qualifications and Experience

The incumbent should have:
• At least 2 A Level passes. A Degree will be and added advantage.
• Experience with ZIMSEC will be a definite advantage.
• Articulate, knowledge of examination regulations, report writing and public relations.
