To administer company properties

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties And Responsibilities:
Prepares And Implements Letting Strategies As Agreed With Manager Properties In Order To Timeously Secure New Tenants For Vacant Premises
Participate In Rent Review Negotiations
Ensures That Lease Terms Between The TelOne And Tenants Are Adhered To.
Initiates And Builds Up Cases For Rent Recovery, Eviction Or Litigation.
Timeously Renew All Lease Agreements And Keep An Up To Date Lease Diary.
Conducts Market Research And Produces Real Estate Survey Reports To Ensure A Favourable Return On Investment On All Property Investments.
Attends Council Budget Consultative Meetings To Defend Development Levies, Lease Fees And Rates Payable.
Ensures Rental Income Is Timeously Collected From Staff, Private Tenants And Where TelOne Is A Lessee, That Landlord’s Rentals Are Timeously Remitted.
Assists Manager Properties In Executing Town Planning Related Projects E.G. Subdivisions, Consolidations And Development Control Issues.
Administers Service Level Agreements/Contracts For Cleaning, Landscaping, Pest Control Etc. And Supervise Service Providers Countrywide So As To Ensure Tel-One Standards Are Adhered To.
Keep An Updated Asset Register (Commercial And Residential Properties)
Assist In The Process Of Acquiring Title Deeds/ Conveyancing.
Acquires Sites And Other Premises For TelOne Infrastructure/ Shops/Offices Etc. As Directed By Management.
Complete All Related Tasks As When Necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification And Experience:
At Least A Diploma In Real Estate Management / Diploma In Valuation & Estate Management/National Diploma In Accounting / Business Studies, CIS, Town Planning /ACCA.
A Minimum Of 3 Years’ Relevant Experience In Property Management, Estates Management Or Similar Environment

Sound Project Management Skills
Sound Supervisory Skills
High Level Of Attention To Detail And Interpersonal Skills
Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
Understanding Of Governing Statutes Particularly The Regional Town And Country Planning Act
