Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the vacant post of Environmental Health Technician which has risen in the Health Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pollution Control
• Waste Management
• Business Licensing Administration
• Infectious Disease Control
• Planning and Coordination
• Administration
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUT ES
• 5 "0". level subjects including English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.
• Diploma in Environmental Health
• A higher qualification is an added advantage.
• At least three years post qualification experience in a similar role.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Water and Sanitation hygiene essential
• Competence in Environmental Impact Assessment
• Quality Management Systems such as (ISO 14001) is a must
