Job Description
Our Client, a leader in its industry is a data led organisation. The Analytics team works cross functionally to provide analysis and insights that helps the team make better decisions as an organisation. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Partner with the senior management /leadership team to provide decision support aligned to the organisation’s strategic roadmap and key value processes
• Contribute to the effective delivery of projects and business improvements by translating business needs, quantifying business impacts, assuring technical documentation, supporting change and implementation and contributing to integration activities
• Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of the divisions, departments and the organisation as a whole
• Analyse business growth and development
• Process economic performance/reviews reports prepared by the Data Analysts
• Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the services and products offered by our client.
• Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and change
• Consider opportunities and potential risks attached to business initiatives and identify the processes and information technology required to introduce such.
• Develop and identify suitable Data Analytics frameworks, models and tools from external suppliers/vendors and recommends to the Chief Information Officer
• Produce reports to support findings and recommendations and present to internal stakeholders when necessary
• Support staff and teams in making recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues.
• Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation
• Stay up to date on global best practices, policies, services and products to facilitate change management and improvement of the same.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Actuarial Science or equivalent.
• Have 6 years’ plus in management consulting, business intelligence, advanced analytics or intelligence roles
• Have a strong understanding of operations and finance
• Sound analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes
• Sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently present reports in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
• The ability to handle ambiguity and imperfect data
