Job Description

PURPOSE: The successful candidate will be responsible for stakeholder management, liaising with foreign and local investors, communicating with various government departments and international organizations. The candidate will also be required to collate data and come up with strategic marketing strategies. The position reports to the Chief Investments and Corporate Affairs Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Professional Communication skills: must have experience with dealing with both local and foreign investors, and must have a very good communicating skills. The candidate must be able to articulate the company’s strategy clearly and to precision. They must be aware of and compile reports on events, incidents or updates that are key to the organisation.
• The Management of print and social media platforms is key and the candidate must be willing and able to handle responses on these platforms at all times.
• There must be proven skills in dealing with foreign corporates and diplomats where the candidate disseminated information to and from such envoys.
• The candidate must have managed a large database of such information in a systematic way, tracking communication and responses.
• They must have the skills to organize and run large functions and assisting with corporate messaging, media briefings and public image of the corporate.
• Must be self-motivated and with a wiliness to take initiative and solve complex problems. • Must be a Team player and works wells with peers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years in a corporate setting at a managerial role. • A degree or diploma in communications (investment advisory is a bonus).
