The University of Zimbabwe is inviting applications for the following vacant posts:
Duties
Planning, supervising and coordinating students’ practical's.
Preparing of teaching and clinical examinations.
Developing and maintaining the Department’s Health and Safety procedures.
Maintenance of departmental furniture and equipment, including carrying out inventory and coordinating repairs.
Purchasing departmental equipment, reagents and consumables.
Supervision of junior staff.
Assisting with research work carried out in the Department.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants should have:
A Master of Science Degree in any discipline of Medical Laboratory Sciences and a Foundation Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent.
At least 5 years relevant post qualification experience Laboratory
Management is a distinct advantage.
Leadership and managerial qualities and be highly motivated.
A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
The successful candidate must be registered with the Medical Laboratory and Clinical Scientist Council of Zimbabwe.
