Job Description

• Providing inspired leadership company wide.
• Making high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
• Reporting to the board of directors and keep them informed.
• Developing and implementing operational policies and a strategic plan.
• Developing the company’s culture and overall company vision.
• Creating an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
• Overseeing the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Working with senior stakeholders, chief financial officer, chief information officer, and other executives.
• Assuring all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Liaising with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short- and long-term goals.
• Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities for the company.
• Building alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the company.
• Work closely with the human resource department to ensure great hiring.

Requirements.

• Proven experience as CEO or in other managerial position in a retail furniture set up.
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• MSc/MA in business administration or relevant field
