Job Description

The Grain Marketing Board (GMB) seeks qualified, suitable and experienced candidates to fill the following positions on a permanent basis. Job purpose: To maintain SAP materials management data and information

Duties and Responsibilities

Summary of Duties
• Design, configuration, testing, development of training materials and on-going user support. • Analysis and evaluation of existing functions and business processes related to Materials Management • Performs functional configuration tasks for the SAP Materials Management modules to satisfy request from end users for fixes, changes and enhancements. • Trains users and supports training in the usage of SAP Materials Management system functionality. • Maintains Materials Management data and information. • Carry out detailed analysis of systems in order to clearly understand all design and development concepts employed in Materials Management modules and all possible implementation and configuration options available in order to choose the best for GMB. • Conduct maintenance of applications by ensuring that, cropping problems are resolved and all aspects of the business procedures are catered for in the modules • Decides on user training requirements and caries out training pertaining to the use of the relevant sub-system. • Designs and develops user and training manuals. • Provides training to users to ensure positive cultural and behavior changes. • Conduct Materials Management processes tests during system upgrades. • Update SAP Materials Management system periodically. • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Superior.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Business Administration • Higher National Diploma in Business Studies or equivalent. • Sound knowledge of SAP Materials Management and SAP hands — on experience would be a clear advantage. • Prior SAP training and experience is a distinct advantage. • 5 years business experience in related area.
