Ultrabank Management Services has been retained by one of its Clients, a key player in the retail sector, to recruit and select a suitable candidate for the above mentioned vacancy that has arisen within its operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Improve profit and attain sales target of the Supermarket
Deal with all complaints, queries, and other related customer service issues
Organize training, orientation, and supervise all departmental managers
Ensure compliance to all the operational requirements of the store including Covid – 19 guidelines
Set employee targets and appraise at the end of the performance cycle
Come up with performance improvement plans
Discipline, counsel, and coach employees to maintain positive result generation
Initiate corrective actions, analyze variance, schedule expenditure, and prepare annual budget aside
achieving other financial objectives of the organization
Establish good rapport with existing and potential customers
Study trends, propose clearance sales and also determine all required sales promotions
Review merchandising by formulating pricing policies
Identify profitability ratio by studying financial statements and operating statements
Study display plans, sale promotion, and advertising towards marketing merchandise in a profitable
manner.
Supervise the receiving of all stocks meant for the Supermarket
Carry out monthly stock takes
Carry out periodic cash surprise checks
