Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Benefits Officer (APWCS), the successful candidate will process and pay beneficiaries on legitimate claims in order to cushion workers and their dependents in the event of the formers' injury in work related accidents or illnesses.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Arrange and assist with Regional medical clinics, special meetings and make appointments for workers with doctors and medical institutions for treatments, operations and disability assessments.
• Auditing prescriptions, quotations in relation to APWCS claims.
Process all benefits for payments within set turnaround times.
• Execute all relevant processes as per standing instructions to
ensure correct payments are made and no duplicate Er illegitimate payments are made. L
• Attend to clients queries on benefits payment.
• Refer injured workers to Orthopaedic Centres/Rehabilitation centre and other service providers for fitting of artificial appliances, treatments, training to attain maximum recovery and reduce PDs.
• Conduct periodic visits to grossly disabled workers' homes.
• Assisting regional offices in adjudication of claims.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifying Requirements
• A Diploma in Pensions Management Social sciences, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Diploma in Nursing a must.
• Occupational Safety and Health qualification will be an added advantage.
• Clean Class four Driver's license a must.
• A minimum of3 years' post qualification in Nursing.
