Job Description

To utilize expertise, skills and knowledge gained as a qualified healthcare professional in the assessment of risk, ensuring quality of care provision and in maintaining quality control of costs in line with the company’s policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assessing new application forms and makes recommendations based on the potential risk
- Providing an oversight and case management of surgical/medical cases
- Giving advice and assistance in the generation and modification of contracts, procedures and benefits to promote best practices in healthcare quality and cost control
- Group assessments
- Providing information to Call Centre Agents and any other department to equip them in dealing with queries
- Assessing and resolving reported cases of over servicing and benefit abuse
- Assessing and resolving fraudulent claims and non-disclosure against established medical protocols
- Attending meetings with contracted providers of professional medical services to resolve queries and establish working relations

Qualifications and Experience

- Must have a medical background preferably nursing with a degree or diploma
- Must have 5 O’Level subjects
- A’Level is an added advantage
- Must have at least three (3) years continuous working experience
- Must have hospital experience
- A customer care qualification is an added advantage
- working experience in a similar position an added advantage
