Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions:
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assisting the Carpenter in the Installations, repair and maintenance of all roof, ceilings, doors, and timber fixtures, fittings and finishes at ZUPCO buildings and structures at all depots.
• Assisting the Carpenter In the repair and maintenance of all steel and aluminum works including door frames, window frames, veranda canopies and physical security systems at ZUPCO depots and facilities.
• Checking of all carpentry and joinery Installations and prompt reporting of all faults and deformities to the Carpenter.
• Fitting of doors and door locks, replacement of broken roofing sheets,
and attending to minor faults in the wooden fixtures and fittings,
• Assist In all other maintenance works such as plumbing, painting, brickwork, tiling, welding and electricals.
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior
Qualifications and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5 O levels including mathematics and English language.
• Class 3 skilled worker Carpenter
• 3 years post qualification experience in an Industrial environment
• Working knowledge of other construction trades
• Knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental systems an added advantage
