POSITION DESCRIPTION
The positions will be part of the dynamic Apprentice Learnership team based at the Selous Metallurgical Complex.

JOB TITLE – Apprenticeship Trainee: 3 Electrical Engineering, 1 Fitting & Turning and 1 Diesel Plant Fitting
JOB GRADING – A3
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite
• To maintain a logbook over the duration of the apprenticeship period, recording projects that have been undertaken and the skills learned.
• Comply with all Safety, Heath, Environmental, Quality and other legal requirements
• Maintain all tools in a clean state and never to use defective tools and equipment.
• Adhering to workshop procedures
• To undertake and successfully complete suitable college courses, achieving the academic grades
Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Five (5) “O” Level passes at grade C or better including Mathematics, English Language and Science
• Clearance letter from the Registrar of Apprentices
• A driver’s or learner’s licence for the Diesel Plant Fitting Trainee
