Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and task-oriented individuals to fill the above position that have arisen within the Accounts Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Managing all accounting transactions
• Preparing budget forecasts
• Publishing financial statements in time
• Handling monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconciling accounts payable and receivable
• Ensuring timely bank payments
• Computing taxes and prepare tax returns
• Managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Reporting on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Auditing financial transactions and documents
• Reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree with experience in an Accounting role.
• Additional certification (CIS/ACCA/CA) is a plus
• At least 3 years in a related role
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position
• At least three 3 years Financial reporting experience
• Tax management experience
• Payroll accounting experience
• Knowledge with Sage X3 Accounting System will be an added advantage
