Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above stated posts that have arisen at Westgate Industrial Training College in Bulawayo.
Duties and Responsibilities
♦ Attend to all patients/clients' ailments
♦ Keep and maintain records for all clients
♦ Procure and dispense medicines as well as keep records of all related inventory
♦ Provide Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health Services
♦ Provide HIV Testing and Counselling Services
♦ Promote wellness and health education
♦ Refer complicated cases to Hospital
♦ Any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
♦ Diploma in General Nursing
♦ Valid Practicing Certificate from the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe
♦ Certificate or Diploma in H.I.V and AIDS Testing and Counseling
♦ Midwifery qualification will be an added advantage
♦ A clean Class 4 driver's licence will be an advantage
♦ Recently qualified Nurses are encouraged to apply
The ideal candidates must have:
♦ Good interpersonal communication skills
♦ Commitment to handling private and confidential information with a high degree of professionalism
♦The ability to work under pressure with little or no supervision in emergency situations
